The Aims & Objectives of the Trust
(a) To manage Trust Funds and collect and recover the interest, dividends, income and profits thereof and pay thereout the expenses of collection and other outgoings and past losses and deficits, if any.
(b) To apply, pay or utilise the balance of such interest, dividends, income and profits of the Trust and the corpus of the trust or any part thereof for all or any one or more of the following charitable purposes.
(i) To promote, sponsor, start, organize or conduct :
(a) Athletic activities including sports, games, exercise programmes and fitness programmes for the mentally impaired on a year-round basis, irrespective of caste,creed,religion or sex.
(b) A “Special Olympics Program”, a National and International Olympics competition for the mentally impaired.
(c) Physical training and educational programmes fir the mentally impaired
Individuals under the “Special Olympics” programmes in skills that develop their minds and bodies, to help and assist these persons to arrive at a reasonable decision and the general upliftment of their mental capacity.
(ii) To impart knowledge:
(a) By printing and publishing, distribution and selling books, periodicals, pamphlets, leaflets and magazines for all or any of the aforesaid purposes;
(b) By holding sports meets, demonstrations, exhibitions, conducting semi-nars, symposiums, lectures and screening film shows.
(c) By conducting and publishing research on the benefit of sports training and competition for mentally impaired individuals.
(iii) To undertake any of the aforesaid activities singly or with the help of any individuals, body of individuals, instituitions or organizations;
(iv) To help, assist, co-operate monetarily or otherwise give donations and render any other services to any individual, body of individuals, institutions or organisations, who are having similar objects, works in furtherance of all or any of the aforesaid purposes and to take, receive monetary help, assistance, co-operation, donations, voluntary contributions from any person, body of persons, institutions, organizations who is/are in sympathy with the aims and objects of the Trust.
(v) To associate or otherwise join with any institution, organisation having similar or like objects and have such other institutions, organisations, associate or otherwise join the trust in furtherance of the aims and objects of the Trust.
(vi) To do and cause to be done all such other lawful acts, deeds and things as are in accord with the spirit and principles of the objects of the trust or which are incidental and conducive to te attainment and pursuit of the aims and objects, or any of them of the Trust.
